New Year. New You. New Trainer.

It's 2017! Happy New Year, everyone!

Once January comes in and the calendar year starts again, it seems like the entire universe opens up with possibilities. A blank slate stares out in front of you filled with promising, unwritten goals and 365 new days and opportunities for you to get somewhere you've never been, do things you've never done, and be someone you have yet to find the courage to conquer and own. Let's make 2017 a year where this slogan actually hits its mark:

New Year, New Me!

Unfortunately, the record has shown that these resolutions usually don't stick. The rigor that motivated you slows down by February, fades out through March and by the first sign of spring, they're gone with the melted snow. (For us Floridians, let's just say they're gone.)

Let's make 2017 different.

A personal trainer can get you started.

The first step is to take that first step: Make a decision. Hire a trainer. Consult a nutritionist. Or maybe even try to find a combination of the two! (i.e. see my credentials!)

A personal trainer can teach you the proper technique and form.

Knowing the right way to do an exercise can help you get the most of each movement and will help you avoid injury.

A personal trainer can push you to get to your goals.

A trainer is your own personal motivator, cheerleader, coach, teacher, nutritionist and friend. With a trainer, you'll have no excuse to not be able to achieve your goals, stay on track and get pushed to your potential.

For this year, if you are truly looking to achieve your goals, you are serious about committing to your improving your health and you are really wanting to make a change to your lifestyle, then consulting a personal trainer may be the best investment you can make to reach and maintain all your new year resolutions.
